About Bead Me Up
Bead Me Up is owned and operated by Kirk Kilgore (pictured at left), a former beading hobbyist who is now a full-time connoisseur of all things 'beady'.
Kirk's experience with beading is extensive, even hand-crafting his own! He gathers various styles from Austria; Bali, Indonesia; and the Czech Republic.
He opened his shop in 2000 with big plans. The store is an amazing success, offering one-of-a-kind products and tools for beading enthusiasts in the Middle Georgia area — supplies that have not been previously available!
Featuring Swarovski® crystals, pearls, sterling silver, and semi-precious stones, the store also hosts a variety of parties and classes. Bead Me Up is a popular destination for many creative Central Georgia enthusiasts!
The shop is located on Vista Circle, right off of Vineville Avenue, across from Jim Shaw's Restaurant. Sharing the same building is Eastworld, a shop which imports handcrafted jewelry. Several other area artists also feature their work in the same building.
Now, that you know a little bit more about the shop, stop by sometime! Get directions to the store, or give us a call!
